Your data
Privacy Policy
Effective date:
Cooper Small Business Services operates the website at https://www.coopersbs.com. This page states what the site collects from you, why the company collects it, where the site stores the data, and how long the data stays.
What the contact form collects
The contact form on the home page collects four items:
- Your name. The form requires it.
- Your email address. The form requires it.
- Your phone number. The form does not require it.
- Your message. The form requires it.
Cloudflare gives the site two more items with each form that you send:
- The country code of your internet connection. The site stores this code with your message.
- The internet address of your connection. The site counts the forms from one address, and it gives the address to the bot check. The site does not store the address.
The site collects no other personal information from you. The site sets no cookie of its own.
Why the company collects this information
The company reads your message and answers it. The company uses the information for that purpose only. The company adds you to no marketing list. The company sells no personal information. The company rents no personal information.
Where the site stores the data
The site stores your message in two places, and it sends one email to you:
- The Cloudflare Workers log. The site runs on a Cloudflare Worker. The Worker writes your name, your email address, your phone number, your message, and your country code to the log. The log holds each entry for 7 days. Cloudflare then deletes the entry.
- A notification email to the company. The Worker sends the same items to team@coopersbs.com. That email stays in the company email account. The company has no fixed schedule to delete it.
- A confirmation email to you. The Worker sends a short email to the address that you gave. The email tells you that your message arrived. It repeats no text that you wrote.
The site keeps no database of the contact form messages. The Cloudflare Workers log and the company email account hold the only copies.
The services that process your data
Cloudflare, Inc. provides each service below. Cloudflare states its practice in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- The website host. Cloudflare serves each page of this site, and it runs the code that receives the contact form.
- Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile checks that a person, and not a robot, sends the contact form. Turnstile receives the internet address of your connection, the name of your browser, and other signals from your browser. The Turnstile Privacy Addendum states the full list.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. This service counts the visits to each page. It sets no cookie. It does not follow you to another website.
- Cloudflare Email Service. This service carries the two emails above.
The company gives your data to no other company. The company permits no third party to collect information about your activity on other websites through this site.
Do Not Track
This site does not follow you across other websites. This site does not change its behavior when your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
How to ask about your data or ask for a removal
Send an email to team@coopersbs.com. Write the email address that you put in the form. The company answers your request.
The company can do these actions for you:
- Tell you which data it holds about you.
- Correct data that is wrong.
- Delete the notification email from the company email account.
The company cannot delete an entry from the Cloudflare Workers log before the 7-day limit. Cloudflare deletes that entry 7 days after the site writes it.
Changes to this policy
